Exporting events

The Export dialog appears on Trends and Users. It produces a downloadable file of the raw events.

Fields

  • From / To — date range. Default is the last 30 days.
  • Event name (optional) — filter to a single event, or leave blank for all.
  • Cohort (optional) — restrict to events from members of a Cohort. Leave blank for all users.
  • Format — CSV or JSON.
  • Row limit — max 1,000,000 rows.

Click Download.

Small vs. large exports

Small exports stream straight to your browser. Larger exports queue as a background job — the dialog polls for status, and when it’s ready you’ll see a Download file link (and an email if your workspace has email enabled).

If an export fails, the dialog shows the error message. Close and reopen the dialog to start over.
